aperture iOS shutter speed notes

Aperture                                                                                                                                                         Aperture is one of the three pillars of photography, the other two being ISO and Shutter Speed
  • aperture is an opening
  • The bigger the f number the smaller the aperture(opening)
  • Smaller the f number bigger aperture (opening)

depth the field

  • bigger the opening the blurrier background appears
  • smaller the opening the sharper of the background appears
  • aperture controls the amount of the depth of field
shutter speed

  • how fast aperture closes and opens
  • shutter speed is like ago stop something from walking. stopping motion
  • minimm shutter speed is 1/150
  • shutter speed controls the amount of motion blur in a moment
iso

  • iso is setting is for your cameras sensitive to light 
  • iso adjust the censor in the camera that it takes the image
  • (day and night) day- low iso night-high so
